Rp3 will not only teach you the sport of fly fishing, but will also teach the whole family all aspects of the camping experience. Rick will show you how to set up camp, gather and chop wood, make a fire, cook on the open fire, make hot dog sticks, and so much more. This is a great bonding experience for the whole family which will be remembered for years to come. After taking this “class”, you and your family will have all the tools you need to go out and camp and fish with confidence.
But the Adventure Package is not ONLY for families. We can take out a group of friends, work colleagues, fathers and sons/daughters, mother and sons/daughters, just the parents, or just the children (15+only). Any combination of people are welcome for this fantastic experience!
Rick Passek has been fishing and camping since he was a small boy in Alberta, and has continued doing this with his family. Rick is an experienced camper, fisherman, and has vast knowledge of all aspects of camping, first aid, and general bush survival techniques. Rick will take you through the entire camping experience step by step.
Outline of the Adventure Package
Consultation with the client to discuss:
- When and where we will go, meals, travel plans and accommodations
- Classes – what we will cover
- What you will need to bring and what we will supply
The consultation will take place approximately one month before the trip.
Our trips will be designed around what you want. We will accommodate anything that is within our capabilities.
Included in the trip, but not limited to:
- How to set up camp
- Gathering wood for the fire, starting the fire with matches and other tricks
- How to cook meals on the open fire (Yum!)
- What to watch out for in the bush, plants that are edible, plants to stay away from
- Our private fly fishing and casting classes
- General survival and first aid training
- Lots of fun!
